I am old enough to be your mother but I have listened to the scriptures you teach through these videos. I have great respect and admiration for you as a godly man. The videos have helped me accept Jesus as my Savior, ask for forgiveness and repent of my sins. Praise G-d for His grace and mercy. I consider myself so blessed by my Lord.

@Paul Gross that is not what he is teaching, nor what he has ever taught. He teaches what the Scriptures says. We are saved by grace alone through faith alone, but if that faith doesn't produce any change in our lives, then it's not true faith. This is what is taught in Scriptures like 1 John 3:9 and Luke 6:43-45. We are saved by God's grace. Our faith alone in Jesus is what saves us, and then that salvation (which changes our hearts) produces good works. This video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXPWpIZ5atV7h5I&ab_channel=AmericanGospel) explains what I'm talking about, and that is what the Scriptures teach. Brother Paul was actually in that documentary.

I just finished reading the book of Proverbs and I really enjoyed it so much. And it's such a blessing to listen and watch each of These studies on Proverbs that Brother Paula Washer is teaching. And I'm so thankful to get to listen to these. I was saved by the Lord last year & I have been reading the Bible systematically like Brother Paul Washer suggested. And I am being so blessed from reading _ and studying the Bible, I have read the New Testament and I've read the Old Testament through Ecclesiastes and I would urge everyone to do as Bro Paul Washer suggested and read the Bible systematically. Start in Matthew as I did or start in Genesis and read through page by page book by book. You will be blessed

This has motivated me to be more intentional with my children.. especially my 9 year old who is a wonderful reader. I want my children to grow in wisdom/discernment! We teach them all about the true gospel of Jesus Christ, discipleship, false teachers/gospels, false religions, the attributes of God, prayer, the catachisms, etc. and next on the list proverbs!!! ☺️ I'm going to have her listen to this :) if you feel led, pray for my Samara Kay :) she had told me and my husband that she is afraid of going to Hell. She realizes the reality of the judgement to come. She still has much to learn.

For some reason this particular lesson had low volume. We had to concentrate hard to hear what Paul was saying. Not to mention that my nieces and nephews are Ugandan kids, who have to pay a close ear to an American accent. On the other hand, thanks HeartCry for making this Proverbs study available. Our time in lockdown this side of the world has made a difference regarding the kids' need to be consistently in God's Word. Love from Kampala, UGANDA. 🙏

Hey brother Paul been having some hard times with this whole Jesus is the Father and acts 2:38 movement. I got baptized how Jesus our Lord said. But they say I have no forgiveness of sins. Also people say you can loose your salvation and use revelation chapter 3. Just a mess. I pray for sound doctrine.

Be very careful, especially with what you said at the start. "Jesus is the Father" sounds like modalism, which is a heresy Christians have condemned for centuries. Scripture clearly teaches that the Father and Son are distinct persons, who share one divine essence. They are both God, but the Father is not the Son. This is clearly seen in the Scripture, for example at Jesus's baptism, all three persons are seen and do distinct things; Jesus prays to His Father, is He praying to Himself? The Word took on flesh and walked among us, does that mean God was off the throne? Jesus clearly distinguished Himself from the Father yet declared Himself One with the Father and equal to Him, as was foretold by the Law, Psalms, and Prophets. I would urge you to talk to your parents or Pastor about this, Modalism is very dangerous.

Thank you!!!

Does anyone know a good place to start for those who are just beginning to understand God’s Word? Any good Study Bibles for non fluent English speakers? Pls let me know!! :) Also a small question for brother Washer: is there any way to find a balance between Scripture study and cramming in 40 pounds of work? Is it possible to do too much of it and neglect other responsibilities?
@monnovio4 жыл бұрын
Yes, Brother Paul himself spoke to this in one of his previous videos in the same series. John MacArthur’s study Bible is great. I just downloaded it and got his notes too and now can find myself with a fresh desire for His word. He gives details, charts, history and also suggests how to read and interpret the Bible. ESV version too is what is recommended

@lewjinhau64394 жыл бұрын
Hi Guy, in the book of Acts 2:38 "Repent and be baptised, everyone of you, in the Name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins". There are two things you need to do: 1. Repent of your sins. Repent is more than just to be sorry for your wrong doings, but it's to truly understand the wickedness of our sin and how offensive it is to a holy and perfect God, and to turn away from committing those sins. 2. To believe that Jesus has died for your sins and has resurrected. Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else (other than Jesus), for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (other than Jesus)" The moment you do that, God will wipe away all your sins and grant you ever lasting life. I would strongly recommend you to approach a godly pastor or an elder to more thoroughly explain the gospel to you. If that's not possible, at least try to search in KZbin on Living Waters ministry, and watch the gospel presentation by Ray Comfort to the people. God bless

My name is Jacob, I’m from Michigan and I’m 16. How do I study the Bible? Where do I start?
@TheArtofMar4 жыл бұрын
Hi! I suggest starting with the New Testament, specifically the Gospels (they show Jesus' life and ministry and why we believe what we believe). Many Christians suggest reading John first. Personally, I first read Luke since the parable of the lost sheep was very close to my heart. Then I started from Matthew and dove in until Revelation. Along the way, read Proverbs and Psalms bit by bit, even just a few verses everyday. :) Proverbs teaches us about wisdom, how to live fully as Christians, while Psalms shows us deep relationship with God; how to be completely vulnerable with God and that it's okay to feel and cry out to Him.
