very useful information. in remote area , the prices seems to be quite high . one advice is needed please. As you travel a lot , how do you find Kochi as retirement place compared to South Goa ? I have been to Goa , may be 6-7 times but have never been to Kerala. We have stayed almost 30 years outside India and now seriously looking for settlement in India and thinking of Kochi but after watching your videos , Goa has come to our thoughts. It is very difficult to take decision because i am reading the information available in google . You are actually living in places and know much better with all small issues that people might face. To be honest, we are afraid of snakes and i heard there are too may snakes both in Kerala and Goa. I dont like North Goa as it is too crowded and we dont like to stay where there is too much traffic etc. We prefer to stay in independent house , location should be good from security point of view and grocery / hospital close by. Where do you recommend in South Goa and what will be the rent for independent small house , lets say 2BHK, better 2 storey but small. Are there any gated community concept in South Goa ? have you been to Kochi ? How do compare Kochi with South Goa ? we are looking for retirement . thanks

I have never been in kochi, but planning. In case of south Goa there are many gated community near madgaon. But i would suggest you to come here personally and stay for a month at least and then decide.

I fully agree that we must rent a place and not live in hotel for few weeks before taking any decision. is Madgaon - a town ? what are rents for a small independent house for a month there ?any idea ? actually, you guys have taken right decision relocating close to nature as city life is really killing everybody's health with high pollution. I will study in detail about Madgaon now . really appreciate your advice. thanks
