Shane thanks for all these videos, it helps a lot. I also do have a question if my master(virtual) is moving from 0 to 100 using MAM and slaves are CAMed to it, once MAM is complete how to go back to 0 on the virtual axis, to perform this 0-100 position motion in the cycle again and again. Do we manual have to perform Home or MRP to the virtual axis to get it back to 0 before giving it the next MAM command or MAPC take care of it automatically. I did not get how your application works continuously without resetting the position of the master everytime.

If the process allows then wait till roll over, if not then mrp or home. Note that mrp is temporary. Meaning, if the system losses power the it will return to original home position not the mrp position. Just a note so you are aware. Over the next few weeks, I am actually re-working my motíon courses. This will be even more detailed than anything for servo training. My last two servo course were a great success but it's time to keep up with technology

Hi Shane, Can I use another virtual axis instead of the AXIS 01 you're using to see the trend ? Will that work?

Hi Shane Welcher, Thanks for this video. I have a question about the slave axis in MAPC: How I can change the speed of the slave axis? Change the cam profile, right?
@ShaneWelcher4 жыл бұрын
Either the servo attributes or the cam profile or the slave ratio. The best way is the cam profile.

Hi Sir Why you not used MCCP with MAPC
@ShaneWelcher3 жыл бұрын
I do use them but in some videos I don't because that is not a requirement. I try to teach multiple ways to give multiple view points

Hi Shane, can i cam two virtual axis'?
@ShaneWelcher2 жыл бұрын
Not sure why you would cam two virtual axis in a real world system. There are ways though.
@johnarcher20562 жыл бұрын
I am just simulating using an emulator, no hardware. Playing with camming. The slave will not cam to the master for some reason. Any idea why? I have checked for duplicate motion instructions etc...
@ShaneWelcher2 жыл бұрын
@John Archer depends on the version you are running, I would say that using two virtual axis should not be cammed together.

@@ShaneWelcher for R&D purposes it would be handy. Can I use a real axis and watch the command position change?
@ShaneWelcher2 жыл бұрын
Using a real axis would be best for camming. meaning, real-world servo
