shane have you encountered this situation. we are replacing old plcs that can only go to version 20-21 im guessing because they are discontinued we are taking backups fron the old plcs and try to download to the new plcs that can go to a higher version and when ever we try do download the program its deleting some of the modules im guessing because the modules are not compatible with the new plcs i hope i made sense with this. any thoughts and suggestions? we are working with Allen Bradley Plc by the way

Two things, the version level is determined based on the processor being used. Example: L55, L6, L7, L8 Secondly, the reason the modules disappear is because you do not have the Add On Profile for that version. Meaning, you need to download the correct AOPs from the Rockwell Automation website. I have seen this very thing in the past.
