The reason why the lobby theme is more intense than the battle theme is because Contingency Contract is like a finals exam for us players, the event give you challenges like making the enemy stronger or making yourselves weaker as Contracts to fulfil to win. In the lobby you choose those contracts and everytime you lose over and over again, as you go back to the lobby to strategize you will hear this song's lyrics telling you not to give up. Then as you return back to the battle field you will hear this tense but slow music giving you the chance to concentrate getting you into the zone for the battle after you got hyped up by the lobby theme.

The game is rough early.. and most players that still play must have at least tried and enjoyed other TD type games. In my case it was kingdom rush back in the day when I still played stuff from armorgames. Totally fine since music connects diff types of people.

This is the season 2 CC1, the latest one, the first season has 12 so you can just search by cc number to find them, usually the lobby themes are the main attraction of this game mode

Cc songs are just so good. 0-12 was season 1 this was the start of season 2 some of the most challenging content we get. Im pretty sure every song has something to do with 'rising to the challenge' as we listen to this while thinking about how to beat it.

loving the arknights reactions! you should definetely do all of the other CC lobby themes, this one is the first song of the second season, if you like that sorta metal feel you should listen to Operation Pyrite (first season, track 1) and Operation Basepoint (first season, track 12) I also love Operation lead seal, spectrum, wild scales and blade, though those have different feels! all of the tracks from CC are insane and very worth reacting to, though the ones i listed are my favorites keep up the good work!

CC is generally the peak of difficulty, so there is a ton of time spent in the lobby planning and improving strategies, considering every detail of the mechanics and your team, and eventually celebration and relief when you finally get back to that lobby victorious. Meanwhile the actual battle is a highly technical fight demanding a lot of precise execution and not the cinematic epicness you were expecting. So all the CC tracks fit that, lobby tracks are very unique and well-known with tons of time to jam out to them, while battle tracks take a backseat because players are too focused/stressed to properly listen to it.

Still blew my mind how this and the other operation songs are a lobby theme...a mobile game lobby theme....like what?? Edit: We usually spend more time on the lobby for this gamemode tweaking stage settings and difficulties, or just to rest and listen to the lobby theme after the stress of attempting the stage over and over again 😂

In terms of gameplay it is considered one of the greatest strategic tower defence games by many players and as for whether the CC lobby theme and battle theme should be switched, most of the player's time would be spent in the lobby trying to compose a team that they would use to clear the stage hence the lobby being the bigger banger as this event is very hard the more you increase the difficulty of the stage😅

Contingency Contract was the first season, this is Battleplan, the second season. It kinda confused me bc I thought you had mistakenly used Battleplan Pyrolysis cover instead of Operation Pyrite (CC#1)
