How to send FX channels, like reverb, to a cue mix in Studio one 4 or 5

Considering none of the 'Expert Studio One Influencers' on KZbin I asked could come back with a solution, this is a fantastic work around that actually finally works. Since Presonus abandoned their super useful Audiobox 22 VSL feature, future Presonus interfaces as far as I can see do not have this option. I currently use a Presonus Studio 68c which I like very much, and now I can put reverb etc in the singers headphones without printing to the DAW. Really super solution, thank you.

Yes. Singers get's into a "different gear" when they can perform with reverb. Great that you could benefit from this work around

Extremely helpful. Thank you for this - haven’t seen anyone cover this before finding your vid.

You can completely skip adding the bus and simply add an output routed to the HP output, as you did; this will show up in the sends for every FX and Bus channel strip. Then simply use the send from the FX channel, far simpler! That way your FX stays routed to the main mix, and you have individual sends to cues from the send on each FX or Bus. Of course these sends show up as available from every channel, but if you name it FX to Cues it's pretty clear and won't be used in error.

I just wonder if you realize that out of all of my searches all over the Net, THIS is the only method I've found to make FX happen on the cue sends. Thanx so much!

Great vid. Can you not just add reverb or whatever on the track insert ?

Yes, I colud. But there are so many advantages of using separate FX buses. I can also boost the reverb on just the headphones mix if required.

Cheers ! Exactly what I ve been looking for.. So did you do anything specific to eliminate the latency ? Sounds very clear.

Thanks!. Latency don't matter too much when it comes to reverb. Reverb and delay is kind of a latency anyway :-). My interface is a StudioLive III, so not much latency at all.
