dude...I've been looking for this exact information for Studio one 5 for a week. I have been preforming my own drum parts (since Covid) and this information has just helped me to level up big time!! THANK YOU! . I now can be so much more efficient with my performances. Prior to this, I had to keep performing take after take until it was perfect, section by section. Great information.

Thank you for your video. You didn't directly talk about it but you led in me in the right direction to automate the kick velocity.

Quick and to the point but with enough detail to take it to your own tracks and use these functions. Thanks for the video!

Great video, so much useful info in only 11 minutes. I noticed there is a new feature called sliding, where the event doesn't move but you can slide the audio left to right. I'm a video editor and that indisposable feature has been around forever (and it's sister, slipping). I use it all the time and you will too, I predict.

Thanks for the video. It seems to be more efficient than Time Flex in Logic Pro.

What audio interface did you use to record the drums???

The old fashioned way of Punching in and Punching out on a new track or tracks would be another option providing everything is still on site (i.e the drummer, kit, etc.)

That is the best scenario!

Great video again. Didn't know about that Macro - but it looks far too scary for me. Rather do it the old fashioned way. Big thanks.

Thank you! We all have our own methods for editing, these are just a few.

sorry for asking, but isn't stretching audio from a multitrack recording a bad idea? from my experience it induces phasing because of the way audio stretching works, it messes up the phase differently on individual tracks and the relations are changing when the stretched parts are playing.

I'm wondering about that too... and is that even worse with far room mics added in the mix?

You shoud have had this play slower and check to a Metronome in QUAVERS to analyse. I did not hear it getting better to be in time.
