While Academy of Hype's was technically amazing and was strong from start to finish, I was thoroughly entertained and was constantly smiling while watching this performance, plus it's rather refreshing in a dance community filled with hardcore gangsta, super fabulous fierceness and dubstep. They played up the stunts extremely well and had fun clean choreography. I like it when you can tell that the crew had fun making and learning the choreo because then you feel it too while watching it.

Really basic choreography

+RandomRapper The choreo is by no means complicated but that's what I love about it, they used basic foundational moves and focused more on visuals, formations, fun transitions with a track list that's enjoyable to listen to. Too many choreographers just think it's all about the choreo and levels and they don't give enough attention to the entire picture.

RandomRapper In terms of choreo, everything they did was pretty standard and moves you would typically learn if you were to take a popping, locking, waacking, bboy class (with a couple of interesting moves)

RandomRapper To you maybe, uniforms weren't meant to be anything special since the focus was more on the performance. Both Studio One and Academy of Hype were great, but despite Hype being friends of mine, I greatly preferred Studio One's performance.
