Studio run down

Once you get into eDrumming you not only need a good kit but you also need a good rig to be able to get the sounds you're after and a place to work on all those things off the kit. Here's a quick peak at my set up

Wow. Would love to know the live setup. The barrier for me is the transition in set up/down times from previously being acoustic to now electronic kit. Incidentally, sold my SPDSX. Just wasnt for me. Strangely drawn to a Roland TMC-6 to midi into SD3 and Ableton on my Mac. I have a TD12 too, but really trying to strip down my setup. Any adv/disadvantages? PS White balance your main camera man! 🤣🤣

There’s always pros and cons to people’s set ups so I truly believe it’s down to the individual and what it is they want to achieve. What works for one may not necessarily work for the other. One thing I would say is make sure you’re able to do whatever it is you want with the equipment you use. It sounds obvious but it’s surprising how many people don’t do that. And yeah, I’ll try and sort the white balance out. 👍🏻
