I remember the gun Bumblebee uses in War for Cybertron in game was the Energon Battle Pistol while in cutscenes he uses the Plasma Cannon, which is the weapon Bayverse Bumblebee uses.

As amazing as the original still are the SS Gamer Additions are admirable updates. Really like the engineering for the transformation. Despite scaling smaller looks almost flawless as the original really had difficulty holding completely together with so much packed into it. Love the inclusion of 3 weapons. Sword, and canon are great. Lost at Bees snark at the end of the skit lol.

A chest with legs is. Pretty much what he looked like in game. The size comparison with Optimus is perfect. Only thing that bothers me a bit. Was the size of it's forearms. There a bit too small, compared to the source material. Should've been Popeye levels of bulk. But for the price point. I'm not expecting these things to be. Hot Toys level of detail. I'll be adding this one to my collection too and display it in cybertronian car mode. Just like the rest. Or I'll probably have Optimus holding him in his arms. Like they were in the Fall of Cybertron intro cinematic.

​@@AlexSeverinski That's severely understating it.. Original WFC bumblebee was absolute TORCHER.. So much transparent plastic that felt like it was going to snap, so much flimsy annoying shell forming, and a billion little pegs you needed to make sure every single thing was perfectly lined up or else there would be a horrendous gap somewhere. It was esp panful as a 5 year old when I got it for my birthday.

I like how the weapons are sculpted exactly like how they do from the game. For example: Bumblebee's weapons are a Plasma Cannon, and AP Battle Pistol. I also like how the figure's arms can be removed and replaced with the weapons.

Yeah, the later FoC toys started including real game weapons, like the Wreckers, but the old ones did not have game accurate weapons.

Honestly? The storage in Alt Mode is quite intuitive with the weapons on the back instead of the top. And the fact that the long blaster fits on the underside in that mode just adds to the appeal. I am definitely going to be getting SSGE Bumblebee where I can...once I get the upgrade kit for my recently acquired SSGE Optimus Prime.

Honestly I don't really get people complaining about the looks of the robot mode in this. It looks so similar to the game, and it's more of a matter of bad angles than anything else. Which can be said of any figure honestly! And I much prefer this figure over the original because with the original there were weird elements like the random gold plastic for the legs. The gun in the swords that do not match anything that was in the game. The fact that is proportions are still all wrong even now. And the original figure just felt so fragile with so many places where it could crack and break. This guy just feel so much better

To help you with the Guns Emgo316 the first one is an Energon Pistol and the fat one is call the Plasma Canon and as a Bonus Barricades is called the Neutron Repeater /Neutron Assault Riffle which ever you prefer.

Omg I just fixed his legs today and he looks amazing. I swapped them and rotated at the thigh to have the wheels on the outside and make use of the ankle tilt. Also shaved down the rear of the crotch piece to allow him to transform properly! He can now transform without switching the legs back

Bumblebee’s weapons are the charge cannon that makes an entrance and while playing as any of the 3 autobots bumblebee gets an energon battle pistol (x8 scope) 8 round magazine but in fall of cybertron bumblebee does get a neutron assault rifle which looks like 2 mini guns combined into 1 gun with 32 round magazine which has upgrades the last time I played both those games

It’s hard, cuz I kinda like the details on the Gamer Edition, but I absolutely thing the older figure looks closer to the game, and I like that his body is is less of a cybertronian tennis ball. Alt mode is kind of perfect tho. Honestly, besides the Ion rifle Prime comes with, because that’s his gun in literally everything, I don’t remember the names of any of the guns, I just remember what they do more or less. The big cannon Bee comes with is I think the shotgun, and the longer one is supposed to be the pistol.

I bought the WFC Prime because it was a more accurate representation of the character and less of a pain to transform. I bought the WFC Barricade because they never got around to making him originally. From the look of things, I'll be skipping out on Bumblebee for reasons other than my standard "not buying more than one version of a character" rule.

I personally like the new one better overall. The old one had better legs, but i think that the visible torso looks a bit weird, tho lehs starting right at the belly aren't perfecr either, but i still prefer that. The weapons i think are great, but the bumble cannon looks kinda bad in the bloosh compatibke segment, it's just flat and boring, it could definetelly use some paint there. The altmode is amazing, the only thing about it i liked more on the old one were the wheels, the front as well as the sides look much better on the studio series in my opinion

Yes, I think you're right. Barricade's display piece is also incorrect: he is supposed to have a display from the Dark Energon level but instead it is the scene from Level 3 titled Iacon Destroyed( the scene where Megatron meets up with Brawl and the scene where he and his cons battle an Autobot titan before entering Zeta Prime's vault).

For me the most recurring sticking point of this line is the wheels. The wheels in the games had so much character to them; definitely completely overdesigned, and making staring at whoever's butt for several hours of gameplay visually interesting as they animated. For Studio Series though they've definitely cheaped out on the wheels across the board. Missing paint apps, missing details, being gappy plastic savers like Prime's are. It makes me sad.

This bots from the Gamer Edition are a mix bag, some of they have great alt modes but some bad robot design and vice-versa.
