ohh im glad you started painting with watercolors!! its one of my fav mediums hehe here r some tips that helped me out a lot in the beginning :> - when you make a mistake, add a few drops of water on top and swish it around. depending on how dark it is when you blot it with a paper towel, most of it will be gone o.o - if you plan to do more color heavy paintings, i recommend you tape down your paper to avoid a lot of warping - i like to activate my watercolors by spraying all of them with a spray bottle and idk its just a lot easier for me

just a tip regarding the condensation on your window, make sure u open the window everyday to let the moisture out otherwise you may get mould... learned that the hard way
