some tips for oil! 1. turp and liquin mediums dry much faster, oil based mediums dry much slower. 2. Spirits are rough on brushes, but you can use oil to clean them/moisturize them as well. for bigger pieces I skip the brush for the first layer and just use gloves and fingers!

I want to try liquin but, since I paint in a small space with not so great ventilation, I don't want to accidentally inhale too much of it. But using gloved fingers for the first layer is genius! I didn't even think about that. Great tips - thanks for sharing!
