time management definitely works, but i have to sacrifice my sleep most of the time 😅 my shop isn’t always open 24/7, and i always put it on vacation mode during major exams since it already stresses me out. working on my shop during tiring weeks will negatively affect my mental health so i try to have a sched for when i open my shop :D

I couldn't order because I'm not in the same country with you, but I really love watching your videos! I myself think the backing cards actually aren't that necessary. They kinda take your time away from preparing actual things that might benefit you and your shop; you have to glue the sticker onto it, which makes part of the backing card unable to be recycled; and it's like wasting a part of paper that doesn't really give anything aside from informing the customers what is the name of the sticker, when you can totally do that in another way that helps you more with your whole packaging. Papers are made from wood, so basically if you use more papers, that means more trees are going to be cut down, and it wouldn't help with the environment. I think there will be better way to add to your branding instead of making backing cards, or at least not like this, because it costs you so much time and could be wasteful. I hope this could give you some thoughts about the packing cards!

If you design your art with 1/16th of an inch or 1/8th of an inch bleed you will have an easier time cutting your designs out, I notice a lot of artists on KZbin are designing their pieces to size which works great for web design but in the world of print bleed and crop marks makes cutting your art out 1000 times easier :)

And if you are using procreate build the bleed into the size of your document so a piece that would be 2”x2” would really be 2.25”x2.25” that way you have a .125” bleed all the way around your art you can cut without worrying about the white of the paper on the edges, this also makes putting your art side by side on a sheet of paper to print a lot easier so there isn’t any white space you have to try and cut around or off :D

just a suggestion, in my opinion you dont need to put a backing card on the sticker :( just include the label on the sticker itself. it will help you cut your cost too and will definitely shorten your prep time. as someone who loves ordering from local stationery shops on shopee, i dont really mind if theres no backing card whatsoever. the packaging overall is already superb and looks neat and cute.

You could make a frame something that has 90° angle and you can align the packaging and stamp there so it’s always aligned at the same spot on all packaging and less time spent on aligning it
