I can really understand how disappointing it can be. There are so many reasons why people might not be making purchases, like financial constraints, the current state of the world, or not receiving notifications. You've put in a lot of effort, and you've done everything you can! I've been really tough on myself in similar situations, especially when it comes to updates in my own shop. This year has been incredibly challenging for me as an artist, but I believe things can turn around very quickly. I'm confident that your creations will sell out, even if it takes a couple of days. Keep pushing forward! The world truly needs artists like you.

I just wanted to say that I totally felt that moment of disappointment when things didn't go quite right. It feels very confusing and lonely. I commend you for sharing because its such a real part of small business! (so is the part where boxes more than double in price🤦‍♀) I also think it's fantastic you showed the journey of getting back to your happy self. It shows that the frustrations don't have to be all encompassing and we can move forward!

What I have seen artists do is to sell imperfections as seconds and yes they do sell you just won't have as large of a profit margin. But it beats having inventory just sitting around.

Your planner is so lovely, and I’ll admit, I was one of those that looked but didn’t purchase. I loved the drawings, I loved the colors, it looks like absolutely great quality and an excellent, appropriate price! But I’m picky about my planner layout and it just wasn’t exactly what I need. I sooooooo wanted to love it and buy one and support both of you, but I also didn’t want to buy one and not end up using it, because it truly is so lovely and I want people to use them who buy them! I hope the rest of them sell for you!

I was at an appointment at 12pm so didn't get to order until after 1pm. But so glad I got one. I wanted one for myself but I know I wouldn't use it due to my planning style so had to order for my little Emily Harvey Art fan. So sorry it didn't go as well as you would have liked. An idea to avoid customers getting spam emails. Mention on your patron or social media that the pre-order is open. I usually run into the issue and do that and it's helped.

I hope you got your bookmarks sorted. its good to put your foot down when something isnt how it should and i think its odd that u paid extra, got the right proof but got sent the items wrong. i dont understand how companies look at something and see something is off and do nothing about it? In regards to your planner, it is indeed absolutely stunning and i would love to get one but unfortunately i cannot afford it. hope this comment boosts your video to reach audiences that love it and can buy one!

Sadly you will always get people who say they want things "instant fomo" then when it comes to actually buying it they've had second thoughts as they were acting spontaneously and then they won't buy it. They don't understand that this affects businesses as too many people doing it at the same time means excess stock. I always take a deposit as this tends to weed out the people who don't follow through. Xx

perhaps it would have been better to promote just the launch day and have it open for all and not have the wait list, it would have taken some of the pressure off, l would have brought one but money is tight and l feel that is the same for everyone these days, small businesses and solo self employed including myself are finding it so hard and l don't feel that will get any better for at least another year or so, big hugs x

I won't care about the gingerbread man. The bookmarks are pretty. I'm sorry I can't buy the planner, the international shipping on that is to high for me, the planner ends up $77. I usually spend about $30. It looks gorgeous though. I wish you luck!
