Something you can do in Logic is create a track stack with the instruments and use the "Transposer" midi effect on each instrument channel to shift the octave up or down. That way you can use one just midi track to control all the instruments at once and you can try out different melodies without having to copy the midi to each instrument, every time you make a change. Finally when you are happy, everything is already setup so you can just collapse the track stack and not have 5 or six instrument tracks taking up screen space.
@BONZERR_9 ай бұрын
And put sidechain and other effects on the stack too. It's faster and more straightforward.

Kygo was great during soundcloud times. But still proud of him sticking to his style unlike matoma that went completely rogue. Rarely he releases like the vibe what we really wanted but 90% of the time is industry generic music

I love that it still shows him messing up. He’s been doing this for however long, and he still messes up. Forgets to quantize something, for example. There’s so much fake perfection shown in music.

Nice ... It's counterintuitive to throw all that stuff into mix, but if it works it works. That's why your songs you can call art many times not just industry "product" for 14 days use. :))

why Kygo don't use summing(group folder)?
@yeezythabest10 ай бұрын
Because he doesn't have to and it worked out for him pretty well so far
@donnithaballa116510 ай бұрын
If you're talking about grouping/busses, he does. It's just a little different in logic
@CloudMindChannel10 ай бұрын
The way Kygo is using buses is the same function as summing! The only difference is that you dont "physically" Get a folder in your project! That way you can have all your tracks loose in the project! I always use summing myself tho…. But this is probably the way he likes to work! I think he started to use Logic before summing stacks was a thing actually🤷🏼♂️
