NOW let go back to Miura, he has a STORY he want to tell, an EPIC TALE DARK FANTASY! he wants the world to know this! he talks about it every single time, we all know this because his friend has mentioned this, HE EVEN WROTE IT FOR HIGHSCHOOL! especially how everyone dies in Golden age arc, and the teacher said it was too dark it sounded terrible, but MUIARA WAS PROUD OF THAT because everyone got engage to the story and his best friend knows this as well because HE WAS THERE AS WELL considering that he wrote Griffith. All Miura wants to do is tell a story, a very good af story! and what better way to bring all of this for Miura than to his his OWN fan remembering his work, and EXPOSING IT TO NEW CROWD OF AUDIANCE We as old berserker fans will never forget, but the new ones have no idea of course. All they can do is put Muira project buried deep so they can keep a small fandom. It is Pathetic! Shame on these people and for trying to do a Lawsuit. Lots of shots in the trailer with less movement while others like Guts walking into the horizon has the cape physics. Overall I don’t expect everything to be perfect. I had extremely high hopes for this, and was extremely afraid that I'd be thoroughly let down again. The term "fan-animation" broke that fear, and I expected something amazing. This trailer exceeded those expectations by a very large margin. I'm not sure if I can properly put into words how excited I am for this adaptation. My wife and I have been spending around an hour picking the trailer apart frame by frame. The level of detail that has gone into making SURE that this is as true to the manga as it can possibly be is astonishing. I cried some big ol' tears of joy from having my favorite manga of all time adapted so faithfully. It feels like I'm watching the panels I grew to love come to life right in front of me in the best way imaginable. The scene at 1:40 with Guts dreaming about Casca, and the absolutely stunning sky, grass, and sounds is by far my favorite scene I've ever seen regarding animated Berserk. That piano track absolutely floored us. It was exactly what I would expect the soundtrack of a melancholic Berserk scene to be. The level of care and passion put into each frame, every sound, and every pen stroke is very apparent, and incredibly appreciated. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for this trailer. Time to be on the edge of my seat biting my nails for 1 year straight.

They’re already doing an incredible job just looking at the trailer. Many fan adaptations I see (save for 1 absolutely perfect one) sacrifice fluidity for art quality, but this one looks like it has a pretty good balance between the two. @@kce023 In its defense, Berserk is set in a more Western Europe setting. By which I mean it does not take place in Japan or any Japan-esque region. So in my opinion, it wouldn’t work with an anime-esque Eastern animation style which the series, to my knowledge, hasn’t really had outside of the 1997 anime. Even then, the characters were less anime stylized like the studio usually did (the 1997 anime was made by the same studio who made Pokemon) Even the manga, outside of a couple scenes with Puck and Golden Age, never really had any anime-like scenes or designs. Maybe it’s just personal preference, but I never really saw Berserk in an anime style so the more western look works for me

They are too scared of the content. Studios now adays only see numbers and dollar signs. And they are programmed by investors and stock holders to think that dark and thought provoking content is considered as financial suicide which ultimately scares them away from handling content like berserk. There could be 900 million fans all protesting and petitioning to have a big studio make it and they would all refuse even though it's clear that it would be a financial flood instead. And besides, even if a company did take it up they would cut out all the bits that make them feel uncomfortable so the Donavan raping young guts scene would be scrapped, casca and guts making the demon infant (pre corruption) would be scrapped, casca getting rapped by phemto would be scrapped, guts having sex with the succubus would get cut, it's all likely possible that the majority of lost children would get the are if not they would make rosine like 20 years older just to avoid the fact it's a child (I guess) who is getting tortured by guts for being an apostle. All in all my point is if a big animation studio. Did take up the challenge they would cut so much that it might as well not even be berserk at that point because they would be to scared to tackle how dark and fucking depressing the manga can get.
