One of my favorite details in this episode is that the entire Gon-Hisoka fight, both are surrounded by that white outline showing Ten. Then, when Gon is hiding in the rubble, he doesn’t have the outline (Zetsu), until he turns it back on to hit Hisoka

In every arc nen becomes more fleshed out. There are the 6 categories mentioned here, some rules, some percentages, techniques, a lot of stuff that's interesting if you care enough about it but not obligatory to enjoy the series.

I think the hunter graduates need to find a teacher on their own instead of a teacher finding them. For example leorio just went to a normal university and that's why he never bumped into a hunter that could teach him. However kurapika went to a hunter missions place so it's pretty obvious that he would bump into a hunter. Gon and killua went to the heavens arena where it's also very likely that they would bump into a hunter. It's like if you passed the exam and decide to do nothing you're not gonna learn nen. It's based on your own decisions.

I think it’s pretty Import to point out that hisoka isn’t turned on by gon being a minor. For him it’s all about power and potential.
