Think of arming a weapon? What kind of church is this?

Mike, What I am looking to do is this. Hopefully you can guide me through this or point me in the proper direction. This sound board is being used in a church I attend. I guess you can call me a learning "Sound Engineer". We have 2 mics in which multiple people use. I am looking to be able to set levels on each person and do a preset on those people. How would this be done? I have a bunch of pdf manuals but nothing seems to address this. Can you please provide me with some insight?

I have not yet set up pre-programmed presets on this board. If you have two mics, assuming they are on channel 1 and channel 2, set the slider for each mic to the desired position and either take a pic or mark the spots with a grease marker (old school!). I have lots of experience in creating presets with the older version of the board, the 16.4.2, but not this one (yet). I recommend you join the forums at Presonus. People are very open to sharing their knowledge and experience, and Presonus has made many tutorial videos.

Is this a good mixer overall, I have read some reviews about the screen that it’s super not responsive....

Mike, During this training session I did not hear if I could set the dates for every Sunday or which every date its needed or do I need to create for each date? And can the record be set for automatic recording?

Tony, you can name each file anything you want to. I use the date scheme 2019-05-27 then SS for Sunday School, AM, PM for morning and evening service, just as a matter of convenience. These are NOT the final name of the file, you would name that once the file was converted to an mp3. Presonus also has software called Studio One 4, which is very good for basic recording, can create mp3's and is free. The paid versions add tons of features I don't need for this basic an application.
