Hi!! You can use any color on washable fabric, depending on what color the fabric is! We typically use acrylic paint on fabric. It does not come out - we have learned that the hard way.

Hi! Patty says, yes, you can stencil on a backpack. If it is a plastic material, wipe down first with vinegar, let dry, then use paint adhesion medium before stenciling, and a matte varnish after stenciling. Happy Painting :)

You can use fabric paint. We just use acrylic paint when we paint on fabric.

😆 ok, one more question: when using the hair dryer to dry between coats, does it take just a minute or two?

It really is just going to depend on how wet the paint is. When you are using the blow dryer, don't have it on the hottest setting. And have it constantly moving. If you keep it in one spot for a while and it's hot, it can "melt" the paint and make it sticky. You should be able to look at the paint and tell if it's dry.

The one we use the most is our largest size, the 5/8. The smaller brushes are great for small projects and small details. The larger brushes cover ground quickly.

Hi Patty! That is definitely a personal preference. We have used spray adhesive in the past and don’t love it. Since filming this, we found Aleene’s Stick and Restick and really love it. What do you mean by dry paint are you using a powder paint you just put the napkin down with the paint on it so I didn't see what kind of paint you were using

When she refers to dry paint, she is talking about using an acrylic paint without adding water to it. Adding water to your paint thins it out and increases chances of bleeding under your stencils. Any good acrylic paint will do!
