Secure, romantic, seductive. Being the last gentleman on earth. While Madame Lambert shows Zerlina's complete confusion. She resists, she gives in and resists again. Opera it's not only singing but also expression. And for this, those two deserve a huge award!

Je viens de découvrir cette version avec accompagnement piano. Etonnée qu'il n'y ait pas de commentaires, car je l'adore ! Baryton à la voix superbe, mais la soprano n'est pas en reste. Grande sensibilité dans l'interprétation, de la part des chanteurs et du pianiste. Du bel art !

Perfect voices and soft musicality for Mozart. The pianist is fantastic too-makes that piano sound like a harpsichord and intrinsically knows how to accompany this marvelous pair of singers. I’ve rarely heard better. Astounding performance all around. ❤

А вот стилистически это по-своему интересное салонно-акварельное толкование увы, является образцом непостижения. Церлина тут почти совершенно теряет vis comica, которую вложили в эту сцену и в целом в образ Церлины Да Понте и Моцарт: Ma può burlarmi ANCOR'. Баритон же за десятки миль находится в стороне от образа своего героя, исполняя Дон Жуана в стилистике Дона Оттавио. В этом дуэте, как и в серенаде De vieni alla finestra, мы видим добродушно-циничное "сексуальное хождение барина в народ", полное самоиронии. Наш же Дон Жуан занят здесь чем-то вроде обольщения герцогини д'Альба, совершенно не отдавая себе отчёт в реально происходящем в опере. Далеко не всё сводится в опере к звуку - простите, что вынужден напомнить эту тривиальность. Исполнители решили трактовать данный хрестоматийный дуэт исключительно тонко. Мои земляки говорят: "Где тонко, там и рвётся". Поговорка права, как прав и мой суровый коллега по комментам, резюмировавший: "Completely neutered".
