Hello, I have some questions about the scholarship, please, help me if you know the answers: 1) I understand that I don't need to upload a language certificate during the application process, but will I need the TOEFL certificate later? My English is C1 and my previous certificate has expired. It's a very important question because I'd like to save money. 2) Is it possible to work part time in Brazil? I heard that they allowed students to work part time last year, is it true? 3) I didn't see any sections in the application form where I can upload reference letters. Do I need to attach these letters? 4) I've studied the table with universities. Sometimes in the language column they write "port, ing, esp". Does it mean that I should speak any of these languages or all of them? Thank you in advance for your reply and sorry for your loss🙏

Thank you so much for watching and I appreciate your concern about my loss. 1. You don't need any language proficiency certificate as that will be accessed during the application process. As well as you don't need it for visa application. 2. Normally the monthly stipend is supposed to act as an income which is more than enough for you to use monthly and even save a little (single person). But then you can only do jobs that fall under the category of self employed jobs (MEI). Jobs like uber, teaching online, hair dressing just to name a few. Jobs that don't require a work permit. 3. You don't need any reference letter. 4. Yes. You should be able to speak at least one of the languages.

My condolences for your loss. In the call for application, it's written that scholarship beneficiaries must travel back to their home country within 30 days after completing their studies but you are saying that permanent residency can be gotten after study. Can you clarify me on that please.

That statement is a formal statement every country gives out as a law that after your studies you need to return, but the same laws also states that after your studies, you can choose to further your studies and extend your residency or if you get a job, your residency can be changed to work residency and if your contract is permanent, then that leads to permanent residency too.

Yes. 5 sets of essays because you are applying to 5 different schools and each of them will need an essay 1 and essay 2. You can't apply for engineering in one school and management in another school and use the same essay. Regardless , even if it is the same program you want to apply for all the schools, you need to still submit 2 essays. The program doesn't force you to apply to 5 schools. It is your choice and it increases your chances of getting admitted to a least one of them.
