I love the 'new Mikey' lately and the way you are actually 'being you!' and we get to see the silly Mikey instead of the 'Business Mikey'....does that make sense? Of course it did! Now you 'better Wuuuurrrrk!' Happy PRIDE ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Month! Richard

I've been on KZbin since 2008 and in the early years, it was not free to be me without personal threats and more. I have been finally letting myself relax a bit. I prefer this type of video but the comments that come in sometimes slam me back into the box and I have to grow a pair and just stand up for myself.

Mikey you are such a fantastic teacher and I LOVE your sense of humor and your contagious laugh. I’ve been following you right from the start years ago. Thanks to you I have made so many beautiful crochet projects and before following you I didn’t know how to crochet. When my Mum got sick - being able to crochet gave me the peace I needed to help her through her sickness and helped me when she passed. Thank you for all that you do.

You’re absolutely right with we’re the eye falls. I paint in acrylics and oil and I get what you’re saying. Life is interesting but jolts aren’t. Same applies to colour patterns.

Your tip about the color sequencing in the Ombre Yarn was very useful to me in another project I'm working on. I'm stitching a baby blanket and I needed to start a new ball about 2/3rds of the way through. The new ball started with the lightest color but I was working with the darkest. I remembered your tip an pulled out the center of the skein so I could continue with the proper sequencing and didn't have the abrupt change in color. Thanks.

I’m so excited to start this! I bought my red heart ombré yarn. Some of the colors were not available but I was able to find a similar color of red heart ombre. This time I actually did a swatch for a gauge check so you know I’m serious in finishing this one. This one will NOT get frogged and turned into something else nor will it go into the black hole of my closet where my other WIPs are. Lol

Went to three different places to find ombré yarn without luck. So bought some ombré, some solid but they all go together. Will learn from his stitches, if not able to use all ombré!!

I’m glad you address this because I was thinking about that and wondering if it would be nice to have 3 skeins of the two longer colors as they transition out longer. I believe I’ll have to switch to other colors because I can’t find anything but sunny. I really, really wanted that seaside and blue but can’t find them. Can you give us besides the 2 color waves that would ombré pretty together??? I’m sure they would pretty much all work together beautiful but since I’m a visual person I just can’t decide 🙄🤦🏼♀️ That light blue and pink I’ve never found but it may be exclusive to yarnspiration. I thought about coral, cocoa and, ?? I just don’t know as I love them all but the seaside has 3 colors. Yellow and blue and minty

Hi Mikey. I just signed up for the weekly patterns. I happen to have 3 sea corals and 3 green apples. Would this still work 7 okay in the two colours and would the yardage still work out for colour controling ? Thanks in advance. 😊

In Canada, we don't call yarn Skeins generally speaking. That's more of a USA and other country thing.
