We do not need international help. We as the people under one ☝️ nation should have at-least some care for our environment surrounding us. The biggest source of plastic waste is from packaged processed foods. When I was a kid, juice came in cartons or frozen. Dry cleaning was folded in paper with twine. Milk came in cartons. Eggs came in paper cartons. Sodas were cans or large plastic bottles. Plastics were less common in the 80's.

Not always but often. Also much of what we promote here in the west is modern and dazzling but it does not last long.. fads and gimmicks. Classic tastes usually you are better to buy in clothes for example because they will always look stylish where as the newest thing maybe you will regret. Centuries of beauty in the East that has been admired and emulated and desired for a long long time.
