The MA in Intercultural Communication and Education (MA ICE) addresses the need for effective teaching practices in diverse global settings.
Our School of Education is ranked first nationally for Research Outputs and joint 1st nationally for Research Impact (Research Excellence Framework 2021). Our MA ICE is delivered by world-leading academics who deliver a research-based curriculum.
Our core modules delve into identity, prejudice, and life transitions, fostering a deep understanding of cultural differences. You will customise your learning journey and develop your critical understanding of global education and communication through optional modules and a dissertation.
You also have the opportunity to engage with peers from around the world and gain insights into worldwide education systems.
The programme is available on a full-time and part-time basis and equips you to navigate intercultural challenges in teaching and research, opening doors to diverse career opportunities including in educational research, publishing, education administration, policy-making and management as well as roles in the commercial or public sector.
