Hi! I am a doctor in India. I recently completed my undergrad. When I saw that you were struggling to remeber the cephalosporin antibiotics, it reminded me of my time when I was trying to learn them. The names all look similar so look for differences. If you look at the 1st generation names, they all have "A" after cef/ceph. In the 3rd gen, they all end with one/me/ten. Looking at things this way made it a little easier for me to identify which antibiotic belongs to which class. Sure there are exceptions😂 but this is just one way to keep myself awake and motivated to study drugs

Digital studying looks so easy. We still use only textbooks and notes. Most teachers won't even share their ppt or other study material. We don't have study cafe or study rooms too. The only place we can study except my hostel room(shared with one roommate) is the library that too is on the 5th floor with no elevator

중학교 땐 전교 3등 이내로 목표했었고 과학을 좋아해서 과학 공부를 많이 했어요! 경시대회나 탐구대회도 재밌어서 많이 나갔던 것 같아요 :) 의대를 가기 위한 어떤 과목이 정해져있는 건 아니지만 수학 과학을 공부하면 도움이 될 것 같아요! 좋아하는 과목을 꾸준히 깊게 공부해보시는 것도 좋을 것 같구요~ 화이팅이에요!

Hi, my name is Sol i'm from Peru. I'm on my pre-intern year of med school, in Peru it takes 7 years (med school).. so I'm on my 6th year. I was trying to do friday's presentation (ob-gyn round rn) but wanted to get motivational vibes hahah, and here I am. Suddenly i got super busy when u told me i must be like that hahah, but I've been watching all of your videos, being really honest i cannot pull an all nighter studying anymore, I don't know how you do it. I could just handle it when I was on the night shifts at hospitals. But if that isn't the case, I shall sleep :'v you're amazing staying awake very often 😆. I am on the emergency rotation now, we are doing clinical cases with simulated patients (actors) which is new to us, I've heard that's something common overseas. 안녕하세요 반가워요 ☺👍 저는 12살 때 제가 하고 싶은 공부를 정말 몰입해서 왕창 했던 거 같아요!!! 과학이 재밌어서 과학 문제집 사서 풀고, 잡지도 읽고, 탐구대회 경시대회도 나가고, 영재원도 준비하면서 제가 할 수 있는 모든 도전을 했어요! ^^ 그렇게 해서 자신감을 높이니까 뭘 하든 좀 더 빠르게 할 수 있게 되고 효율에 대한 걱정은 안 할 수 있었어요 :) 혹시 좋아하는 과목이 있다면 푹 빠져서 해보면 어떨까요??

8:43 my best guess would be that they have a similar etymology, like "arachnophobia" and "agoraphobia" with the -phobia part. Usually it's better to learn the bases, like learn what -phobia means, so that you don't need to memorize *each one*. Most meds have latin etymology, and are formed by latin words that explain what the medication does, in a simple way, at least that's what I've heard from doctors/students. I'm surprised they make you memorize them instead.
