Oml I’m so glad I found your channel. I’m currently in my last year for my biomedical science degree and I chose to specialise in infection and immunity for it which is pretty much just choosing courses related to that topic. Hi!! Would you recommend the Macbook Air or Pro for an undergrad biology/ biochem student? (basically trying to figure out if its necessary to splurge on a pro or if the air would be just fine for my degree) any advice on what to get and specs would be grateful!!!

not ginny of course, but i just finished my degree in molecular bio/chemistry and i'd say you probably don't need to splurge for the pro, if you don't want to-- especially if you're not planning to do heavy bioinformatics or anything that would require a comparable level of computing power

I personally recommend the pro! Many of my colleagues who has/had an air loved it the first 1-2 years, then complain it slows down way too much and can't handle research writing by year 3-4 (ie when you need to have a million tabs open). The pro is guaranteed to work really well beyond 4 years and colleagues who invested in a pro have never regretted their decision!
