Kylie; I never really leave any comments on videos but I felt like I had to this morning. Your bible studies are amazing. You’ve actually become a part of my early morning routine. I work out, get ready for work, and with the left-over time, I study Matthew with you and a fresh (strong) cup of coffee. It’s been such a great morning routine & something I really look forward to in the morning. Thank you for your videos & studies. ✨

I love watching your bible studies! They are so insightful and are helping me learn how to learn. Does that make sense? I'm not new to being a Christian, I am however new to being a student of the bible. It was very scary and daunting, but this study on Matthew has been a great release of anxiety. I can't wait for chapter 13!

Satan sets out chocolate cake, hahaha love it. He would definitely do anything he could to deceive us, even disguise himself as an "angel of light." (2Corinthians 11:14)

I love your videos. On this video though I have a question about your comment on verse 36 when you say our lives will be under judgement? If so how do you relate that verse to Romans 8:1? If we are free of condemnation does that mean we are not free from judgment too? I just wanted to hear your perspective on it because I just got to the point where I am asking questions and getting context. I love your channel by the way I use you as a bible study tool. Love how you give context to what we are reading.

Great question! Yes, there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus! Hallelujah for that! However, we all will have to give an account of ourselves when we get to Heaven good and bad. We are covered by the blood of Jesus as believers that has paid for all of our sin. If you have made Jesus the Lord of your life your eternity is in Heaven, but we will review our life and the choices we made. I kind of think of it from a parent’s perspective. There’s nothing my kids can do to make me not love them. I’m not going to kick them out of our house, because they’re mine! However, I need to know how their lives are going. I need them to be honest with me with the good and the bad. It hold us accountable when a lot of people think that sin isn’t a big deal because Jesus will forgive it. It encourages us to repent and turn from our wicked ways and live a life striving to be more like Jesus. "But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: "As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God." So then each of us shall give account of himself to God" (Romans 14:10-12). "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad" (II Corinthians 5:10).

REMEMBER the Sabbath day, to keep it HOLY (set apart).... Did Jesus change the Sabbath? If so, where? Every church I ever went to implied that Jesus somehow condones LAWLESSNESS (those bad Pharisees were keeping the law). But Jesus follows God's Laws perfectly. He shows us, and leads us like a shepherd, back to God. Follow ME.

In Matthew 12:43-45 it reminds me of John 5:14. Jesus said, "Go and SIN No more." Why would He say this? Preachers teach it is impossible to stop sinning, is it?Many people have been set free from certain sins, could it be that we don't fully understand what it means to be set free?(2Timothy 3:5) I want freedom from my Sins that are enslaving me. Jesus cleansed the man from head to toe, He does this for us continually as long as we allow Him (Ephesians 5:26). I also believe it is symbolized through the Passover Feast as Jesus washed His disciples feet. If you ever get the chance to participate in a Messianic Seder (Passover) please do, because JESUS is ALL OVER IT... And in Matthew 12:38-39 it sounds like Deuteronomy 13. God warned the people that prophets who do Signs and miracles are NOT from God, UNLESS they follow God's COMMANDMENTS. So by looking to FOLLOW ANYONE, as long as they DO miracles was already evil. It's like magic, it CAN be demonic. The only TRUE way to Know the SON OF GOD, our MESSIAH, was to see God the Father in Him. His words, His CHARACTER, His Image, His Name, His Laws, would ALL be in the person of His Son; therefore if you saw Him, you were seeing God (John 14:9).

The Pharisees were all about keeping THEIR laws and traditions, and they would break God's Laws because they set theirs ABOVE HIS. Mark 7:8-9... Mark 7:13.... John 7:19.... Acts 7:53.... There's probably more. I was always told at churches that the Pharisees KEPT the Laws of God, but clearly they did not. They actually follow their TALMUD. It is a collection of volumes and volumes of huge books like encyclopedias with rules and guidelines from all DIFFERENT Rabbi's. They ALREADY in Jesus day had 2 differing Talmuds, one was from Babylon. Ask Google for an image of the Talmud. These Pharisees had clearly added to God's Word.
