Awesome video thanks! I'm seriously tossing up between Taiwan and China for my language study gap year, and your video really helped a lot. What it comes down to now is whether I can bear the tropical weather or if my preference for the dongbei accent is stronger!

Love the video, I am planning to study mandarin in Taiwan next year, but i was quite affraid on how difficult could be, your video showed me how fun and relaxed can be! I wasn't sure if it was better to choose between the north part of the island or the south. definitely I'm going choose the south :) Great video!

What are your thoughts on applying for exchange next year, regarding Covid? I really, really want to go, but I'm worried Covid will not allow me, or at least ruin my experience...

I'm considering places outside of Taipei because a lot of farms I want to volunteer at are down south! Did you take any elective classes or participate in any NSYSU school clubs? What other schools outside of Taipei would you recommend? People have made comments that the Taiwanese accent comes up more in the South and there is more neutral speaking in Taipei. Did this really come up for you?

Hi. I'm planning on coming to taiwan to study Mandarin. Does Taiwan only teach Traditional Chinese characters or do some universities teach Simplified Chinese?
@theunthinkable10213 жыл бұрын
My opinion, I think Taiwan is the best place to learn Mandarin. No spying stuff, no annoying political party would make threats, and all those other garbage.

Hi Loren and Sheng! I am 27 this year and actually planning to study Chinese in Taiwan (From beginner level) in 2021. I wanna ask you guys about the application for full-time student as I'm planning to study Chinese for at least 1 year. Is it compulsory for international applications to take TOCFL test even when we apply for beginner level?
@loodanlive3 жыл бұрын
It is only compulsory to take the TOCFL if you get the HES scholarship. Otherwise, it's up to you! Let me know if you have any other questions. 😁
@bobbob376 Жыл бұрын
Did you go?
@hiphopolopulus2 жыл бұрын
Did you receive the HES scholarship or did you cover all of expenses yourself? I just received a rejection from this years scholarship but still really want to study in Taiwan even if I need to save up and pay out of pocket. Thank you in advance!
Excellent video. Stay safe and blessed. When it hits my bank account, until then, who cares, for they will reap, what they have sown. The above is the Stimulus checks. Thank you so much for your excellent videos. Stay safe and blessed always. FYI: Disasters will and can happen anywhere, and it is more than earthquakes etc. Please enjoy each day! WE never know when we will be destroyed, so just live each day, if it was your last, because one day, you will be correct. Obey God, and treat everyone, the way you want to be treated. Do not be dishonest or GREEDY, for God is watching all of us, and this is his world, that he allows us to live in for a limited amount of time. Be rich is good deeds, for stuff is just that..STUFF!
