your videos are really motivating me to actually start studying and not always cram my exams, as I have fallen into a circle where in school I'm really passionate about what I study but once's I'm home I put no effort at all. I (re)discovered your videos this week (while doing my first ever final week in law school and while studying/memorizing 100+ pages in a day because I was too lazy to start early) and that made me realize that I can't always study my whole semester the night before the final exam as I did in high school, it's not even possible, but I'm so used to it that I forgot you can actually go to your exam very well prepared (something that I literally have 0 memory of ever doing). Those delegations were organised to learn the Western way. What they leant at UCL meant so much for Japan in the 19th century since Japan was going through very drastic social reform modernising from the Shogun era.
