Interesting that you think the language is easy, especially when you had to learn it in only 1 year. The grammar wasn't annoying? You never mention he food, have you tried local dishes or you just eat what you are used to? And BTW when you travel, a quick trick to find places to visit is to to search online for - Obiective turistice in Judetul ... - and then you find a bunch of lists with w/e might be interesting in an area. BTW, what cultural differences stand out vs Kazakhstan?
@mirasnotes Жыл бұрын
I just compare it with English and despite the fact that I have been learning English almost all my life, I still make mistakes when speaking. And Romanian is perceived easier. Some topics were, of course, a bit difficult, for example, dative and so on. I've only tried sarmale with vegetables (I liked it), and mamaliga because I don't eat pork. And I also love cozonac and coliva. Btw thank u for the suggestion
@mirasnotes Жыл бұрын
And also about the differences with Kazakhstan, I would like to say that life in Romania seems to me more chill and many people work usually here until 4-5, while in our country they work until 18:30-19
@realjx313 Жыл бұрын
@@mirasnotes I suppose the spelling is straight forward in Romanian while in English it takes some effort at first. And maybe the pronunciation, the sounds are also more comfortable for you as, while the accent in different, it's more similar to Russian while English is kinda different. Food, well Romania has a lot of soups for example and not all are pork, they can be chicken, beef, fish and there will be some that you'll like. You should also try zacusca (home made or from the vegetable market, or a good restaurant but not made at industrial scale from the supermarket), salata de vinete, icre, salata de beuf. And then deserts are the ones you buy at Cofetaria, the home made ones, plus some more. Pickles are kinda good too in Eastern Europe in general. For Easter drob de miel is traditional ( kinda like a haggis made from lamb organs) and lamb in general. And also pasca for Easter. Then cheeses, sana (sana is specific to RO, i am assuming you know it but just in case, it's kinda like kefir or sour milk). And mamaliga wise, try bulz too but it's kinda heavy. And stews can be made from all kinds of meat too. Maybe later i'll add some more on the topic If folks work until late, does that mean longer hours or do they start the day later? And do they go to sleep late? And i suppose, yeah Romania is kinda chill and Transilvania is more chill than the rest of Romania. People used to be more stressed in the past, the 80s and 90s were quite tough in Romania so that's why some older people are still quicker to get angry. Have you been to the Danube Delta or not yet?
@mirasnotes Жыл бұрын
I wanted try sana, because I lover kefir, but I was a bit scared🤣 I had no idea what is it. So thank u for explaining I guess I should try someday. They start working from 8-9 About Danube Delta: never heard about such a place🤔
@realjx313 Жыл бұрын
@@mirasnotes Sana is maybe a tiny bit sweeter but just a tiny bit. The Danube Delta is a natural reserve and a World Heritage Site and it's a key stop for migratory birds on their way to Africa, some birds come from as far as China and Mongolia. In the summer i think there are over 300 species of birds there. Plus, fish, plants, animals - might also be the only spot in Europe that still has wild horses. You should go if you have the chance, at least a few days in 2 different spots - more than one to experience different vibes. And the food is mostly fish based. There is also a small community with Russian origins, mostly in small villages - they are called Lipoveni and they've been in Romania for hundreds of years as some kind of religious refugees- you can find some info on Wiki or something. And have you been to Salina Turda? It's like less than 30 km from Cluj i think. Sighisoara and Alba Iulia are not too far, Maramures is not too far, Apuseni Mountains are not too far and it's a nice landscape, kinda hilly not rocky but quite nice.
