Just saw this video and really enjoyed it. Very clear and informative. I’m considering moving to Taiwan for my retirement. Is it possible for you to do more videos on things you like or dislike about Taiwan? Or some other topics that may be of interest to a person considering studying, retiring or just plain moving to Taiwan? Thanks!

Hi there the information with the ARc is not true I suppose. For those who stay more than 6 months and have a resident visa, we were told to apply for our ARC right within 14 days of arrival. Will update again when I have it ;)

How much difficulty would it be for an exchange student to find a cheap room in Taipei (max 10500 ntd// 300 euro) ? Will i get a room just before when my exchange programme starts? (Duration of the exchange is 5 months). It starts in september... will i make it if i start looking right now? Many thanks in advance 🙏🏼
@sharmaineleepuipui3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Yes, you should be able to get a room if you book it now. The earlier the better! :) the later it is, the more rooms will be taken.

You do not want to live in a cashless country. Kids these days have no idea of the dangers of going cashless. You would lose the little economic freedom you got if you go cashless. Do not sacrifice some freedoms for convenience.
