In 2009 movie Gulaal, there was a song "Aarambh hai prachand" composed by Piyush Mishra. The song talks about Gita and concept of reincarnation. But in 2014, BJP used that song as a tool to promote spirit of Hinduism. This act of BJP was protested by Piyush Mishra sir himself. How do we know how Faiz would have received this gesture of IIT students? The poem have a controversial word "but" and in a sensitive environment, how can we expect administration not to abate its chant? I am not against the poem or the poet. I am against its use in such a sensitive environment.

Bro both are different college's Muhammadan Anglo Oriental college(AMU) which was in Aligarh was established by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan in 1875 renamed as AMU in 1920 while MAO was established in 1933 in Amritsar on the pattern of the MAO College Aligarh which after partition shifted to Lahore Pakistan..
