Excellent video, thanks. I'll write a brief summary for my and others benefit. 1. China was dynastically ruled by various dynasties for 2000 years till 19th century. Quing dynasty fell coz of various reasons, weak governance + western exploitation being one of them. 2. 1911 revolution threw away the dynasty, with a nationalist and a millitary ruler coming to power, power later given to millitary ruler in promise of uniting China. China united but democratic nationalists have to run away. Returned back after death of millitary ruler around 1926. 3. Starting uniting China again, competing with Communists. For getting help from USSR joined hands with Communists, later started destroying communist, on which communist took "The Long March" and settled in far away mountains. 4. Japan attacked, conquered Manchuria, KMT was loosing, joined hands with Communist and togather faced atrocities of imperialistic Japan. Japan lost in 1944. Both again started fighting, USSR gave arms of defeted Japnese soldiers to Communist, giving them upper hand and thereby gaining control over whole of China. 1949 China becomes People's Republic of China under Mao Zedong, While KMT reduced to Tiwan as Republic of China.

Very impressive sir. I hv just one thing to mention here. As u said 19_20th century is a period of humiliation fr China... .I think its mor appropriate to add Just B4 Its declaration as a state on Oct 1 1949. Bcoz afterwards v all know hw quickly China has recovered nd later half of d 20th century i.e. 1950 to 2000.... has a descent impact of china's growth nd power as a mighty nation. I thank u a lot sir fr such a calculative nd impressive analysis of dis subject.

It is because they were more focused on unity of their country.. they were not divided by religion and caste system and were more focused on development of their country as a whole. They realized from the very beginning that only unity of their country would stop foreign nation to interfere and rule them..!
