M.martin l'écrit. Le will change to l'. (We change it to "l' " because verb is beginning with a vowel.) Elle a acheté les Fleurs. Elle les a achetées. (We add 'es' because les Fleurs is feminine plural.)

In the past tense, when using an être/VANDERTRAMP verb and a direct object pronoun, does the verb agree with the object or does this only happen with avoir verbs in the past tense? For example: j’ai retourné la fleur -> je l’ai retourné or je l’ai retournée ?
