Their building the song into the best instrumental based on pop song ever. Not my video, the copyright belongs to Stuff and those who correspond to the making of this video. I am just sharing what I like.

I can't argue that lol, especially when they got to the gig late with no time to sound check! U see eric gale tuning his guitar in mid performance on this show... professional.

The amazing thing about this performance is that their plane was late arriving, and they got on stage with literally minutes to spare, not even enough time to do a sound check!

You can see in the early section of the video the rhythm guitarist tunes a few strings mid song

unbelievable, this performance is jawdropping! world class musicians on the top of their game
I only own one Stuff album, Stuff It, and it is a great album. Paul Simon loved this band so much and had them tour in his backing band in the seventies.

Richard Tee,Steve Gadd and Eric Gale (along with King Crimson bassist Tony Levin) were in Simon's 1980 movie One Trick Pony. I just happened to watch that a couple of nights ago and was pleasantly surprised to see them in it. Cheers, what a great band.

I have a few Of their albums…….or maybe it’s just Eric Gale…… Multiplication is one of my favorites and I often will listen to it play over and over. It’s just so good.

Steve Gadd! He's done so many different things - this is about the same time as the classic "Concierto" album with Jim Hall and Chet Baker... one night, he's playing jazz, the next night, this kind of stuff. Fast-forward 50 years, James Taylor. A musical omnivore.

I seem to remember Paul Simon introducing Stuff to the audience on some tv show back then and man……the stuff they played was the most incredible Id ever heard…….both guitar players were awesome……as well as the entire line up……DuPree wasn’t making albums that I was aware of but Eric Gale ……I would buy any he put out……if there was a new album……just buy it !!!

(Steve Gadd sei Dank!)
