This is one of my favorite albums of all time. I had spent months years ago, while on copious amounts of caffeine, blunts and mushrooms decoding the lyrics and cross-referencing motifs from the other projects of those involved. I'm still not sure I understand it, but I had built an "headcanon" of what this album seems to be talking about from my own perspective. I had wondered if my life experiences at the time had framed my supposed understanding, but even when I come back to it years later with fresh eyes I still think I may have been on track. Anyone out there has any ideas of their own I'd be excited to hear them.

Was this ever released on CD or tape, what year did the bootleg release/ when was the material recorded, more info?...

It was never officially released. I believe it was recorded before Anticon was officially formed as a label/collective in 98, but it couldn't have been more than a year or so into the label's founding at the latest. In the early days of the label, this album was sometimes referenced when the guys would talk about future releases, but as time went on their passion for finishing this thing up and officially putting it out diminished. I remember a thread about it on the old Anticon message board where DJ Mayonnaise said that one day he had decided to pull it out and work on getting it properly mixed but quickly lost interest and gave up on it. The bootleg has probably always been around. I had a collection of bootleg CDRs of various Anticon stuff I got online in 2002 or 2003 that had a couple of these tracks but not the whole thing.
