I'm Italian ....I make a really good sauce...but I have been making my sauce for years...I think I'm going to try this sauce...I will let ya know how it comes out...I will leave my sauce recipe here for you...if you want something different❤️😘 I use two 120 ounces of crushed tomatoes One can of 120 ounce of tomato sauce...I get them at Costco I freeze my sauce...that's why I make so much I sautée my 1 red pepper...1 green pepper...2 med onions...A lot of garlic...in olive oil and butter...when they're translucent ....add chopped pepperoni and let that break down in the olive oil Add 2 cans of crushed tomatoes at this point and stir really good Next...Take the skin off of 15 HOT sausage...brown that really good...DO NOT DRAIN THE GREASE!!!that goes in your sauce... Add 3 pounds of Hamburger...brown and drain When you're done browning your sausage and Hamburg ....purée them in a food processor ....it brings out the flavor of your meats...trust me Put the meat into the sauce...add the last can of tomato sauce...mix sauce with a spatula...it mixes better...add 1cup of Beef bullion ....add all your seasonings...garlic and onion powder...Basil...oregano...Italian seasoning...pepper...if you have a Parmesan cheese...or a pecorino rind?? Throw this in your pot to simmer...gives a great flavor....cheeses rind...it's that hard part on your cheese...I use the fresh cheese...DO NOT ADD ANY SALT TO THIS SAUCE...YOU DONT NEED IT...TRUST ME...add 1/2 cup of sugar...brown or white... you can add 1cup of red wine if you like wine...let this simmer ALL DAY LONG...MAKE SURE YOU USE A HEAVY BOTTOM POT!! You don't want this to burn...and make sure you stir this A lot!!! The meat will sink to the bottom of your pot...KEEP STIRRING...when it's mixed really good...stir every 15 minutes...this is an all day process...don't rush this process...Bon appetite ....
@gloriaburns36064 жыл бұрын
Use a really good sauce pot...don't try to do this in a cheap pan...your sauce WILL burn...buy some 1 gallon freezer bags to freeze your sauce...I get 6 bags of sauce about 10 ladels of sauce per bag...if you have a small family...you can put less in the bag...MAKE SURE YOU GET FREEZER BAGS...if you use regular bags...it will get freezer burned...keep in mind...I'm Italian ...I really don't measure anything...I do it by eye...you can add or subtract anything you want...this is how I make my sauce...you can make sauce a million ways...
@Vixen7815 жыл бұрын

From an Italian you did your meatballs right with the milk and bread. If you want to pump up your pasta sauce saute some garlic with the onions. It will taste soooo good. Also, try sauting the veggies in olive oil, gives the sauce an extra twang of goodness. I like my pasta with lots of sauce too. Scoop up the extra sauce on your plate with garlic bread. MMMMMMMMMM GOOD. Now you see why Italians will have this or raviolis for Thanksgiving.... homemade pasta though on that day.
