***HOW DO I PAY MY BILLS IN CASH??*** Probably my most asked question on this video, so I figured I'd pin the answer! This video is a few months old, but in the past I would take the money for my bills out of the bank so I could keep it "safe" from myself and my awful habit of swiping my debit card without thinking. Then, a day or two prior to when the bill was due, I'd re-deposit the money into the bank. Definitely not the most practical method, but it worked for me for years! All of my bills are kept in a Capital One 360 account now, and if you want an in-detail video about this, check out my video titled "Changing how I do Cash Envelopes" 😊 Thanks for watching!

Don you end up affecting your taxes or something? It’s like the bank think you’re earning double the same money if you withdraw and deposit the same money.

@@Imkpopmom taxes are not based on what is put into a bank account. It's based on your you paycheck. So I could withdrawal and deposite the same $500 everyday and it wouldn't change my tax bracket.

My cousin took the save Ramsey course at church, she told my husband and I to take it and my husband was hesitant....2 years or so later my husband hears about this from a guy he met at work and now were trying to find a church to take the course...if you get the chance to take it Take it it's very helpful I've heard and obviously this girl is proof..alot of people dont have a single dollar to fall on in case of emergency...and that's truly sad in a country like this..of course everyone's income is different

She has now passed down the envelope system to me and my sister and I couldn’t imagine doing my bills any other way. Iulia Cordus usually if you're taking money out of the bank, you can get it in 20's or 100's... getting your money in as few bills as possible. crazy money is asking to split the money you're taking out in different bills, say you want 8 1's and 3 50's or 11 10's, it's crazy because there's a big split up with money... i didn't explain that well but i hope you understand it a bit more

Hey there! I’m about to be a high school junior and I’ve only recently realized that finances are an important thing I’ll have to worry about soon now that I’m slowly growing independent. I know nothing about money and banks and stuff which kind is kind of scary, but your videos are very calming to watch. Hopefully I’ll be as good at managing money as you are! :)

I watched another video of yours when you made the envelopes...I made my own!! Thank you! I love, love, love this idea! I don't know how I will start paying bills with cash as I do most of it online but I decided that I would just start by making the envelopes.

I’m living paycheck to pay check and really want to have this system. But as soon as I get my paycheck I have to pay the full bills with all my money. How did you get it so that you could set aside half of the bill each paycheck and then at the end of the month be able to pay from the 2 times you put money in. I hope that made since.

okay, so i'm curious... are you paying your bills in cash?? or putting that money back in the bank? or what?? 🤔🤔 haha, i'm watching and am sooooo confused as i thought the cash envelope system was for the extras, like spending, gas, groceries, hair cuts, etc - but then i'm hearing insurance, cell phone, etc... 🙀🙀

Great question! It can be confusing, I know my method is strange and kind of backwards to some. But I am a serial swiper, I'm very bad at using my debit card and not thinking about purchases, and next thing I know I have no money left for my bills that are due! So for me, taking things out in cash, putting them somewhere safe such as in an envelope, is easier for me. That way, if I wanted to spend that money I'd have to consciously go into that envelope and take out the cash, which obviously I'd never do. But yes, I go and put that money back into my account when it is time for the bill to be paid. In the future maybe I'll have two checking accounts set up? One strictly just for bills, no actual debit card attached to it. We'll see! But my method won't make sense or work for everyone.

Rips and Rants this comment is so rude and uncalled for. I get paid minimum wage, as do many people, so even if we did work the same hours then she’d be making way more money than i would be making. Its funny how some people like you have never had to scrape up money to buy groceries for the week yet still have the audacity to open your mouth and make fun of people who work their ass off every single day to make enough money to stay alive.

Lee B I work two minimum wage jobs. Shut the fuck up because someone pointed out a minor detail. In no state do you work full time and make 200-300$ a biweekly check. I just pointed out that she works more hours, that's why she makes more money, don't be a whiny brat.
