I'm so glad that Freedom Planet happened in its own original form. Galaxytrail and the franchise has a great potential, especially since they're working on Freedom Planet 2. I really hope they succeeds and they're doing great, and even after! Also: Thanks for doing this video. I think it was brilliant and well-scripted. I think you should give your shoulder a little pat for it!

Wow! Given DiDuro's experience from developing FP1 I now understand why he's pacing himself with FP2 (as well as refraining from donation pledges) Still, tho, I can't wait for FP2 regardless of when it's released! (Heck, I only started playing FP after a friend gave me the game around a year ago and I've been super hooked since!)

I loved this game so much that I bought it twice. Once on the Wii U, and once on the Switch. I was so glad it got a physical release! I had just thought it would feel like Sonic, but it really did have an identity of its own. I loved it, and I played it many times as each character.

hearing the history of this team of indie developers is so inspiring! ngl i got pretty thrilled when i played FP1 and its so well made i had to buy the sequel right after finishing the first game (i always wait for a sale but this game got me good lol), hope to see more of this game in the future cuz it deserves all the sucess and recognition it gets and if FP3 ever gets release eventually i'll be buying it 100%

I really hope DiDuro doesn't nearly put himself out doing FP2's cutscenes. He's being smart in holding off on a concrete release date this time around. As much as I love the game, and am really looking forward to 2, DiDuro's and the rest of the team's health is important!

I liked Freedom Planet so much, mainly since it did what Sonic was failing to do at the time. When I was a kid in the 90s I adored Sonic on Sega Genesis. But then after his 3D games on Dreamcast he kinda got off track and I missed the old Sonic. Freedom Planet was the Sonic game I wanted at the time. I'm really happy it came out and that I got to play it.

It took *four tries* to be deemed good enough for Sony? o.0 Sony's "rigorous quality assurance testing" didn't stop Life of Black Tiger from arriving on the Playstation Store... Galaxytrail said on their Twitter that there were "too many reasons to list" as to why they didn't bring FP1 to Xbox. I think the big obstacle is that the games engine is built on Clickteam Fusion, which is a long outdated and hard to modify engine (the latter was a major factor for why the Torque and Spade DLC was cancelled). They had to find outside help in order to port the first game to Switch, and the sequel switched to Unity to make things easier.
