Taldarim void rays quite weak actually. Their split damage is 1 if I'm not mistaken.

​​@@yarikyaryiand that 1 bounce damage is reduced by armor, so even a +1 Zergling will take 0.5 damage per tick. Adepts do make the Destroyer bounces more respectable, but Adepts amplify every damage instance regardless.

You can't really separate the two because you're always doing both of them in tandem, because you can't really plan for the later parts of the mission without first being able to reach that point.
