Some tips: 1) Don't group up. Spread out. 2) Markov's Panic Mines do more damage than the Assault Rifle so throw those bad boys out while your lightning gun is recharging. 3) Maggie should focus more on the Harpoons than her piddly gun.

Those are terrible tips... if you are too spread out the monster could pick hunters off. If he takes out at least ONE hunter he has a HUGE advantage. Also the Assault Rifle is for medium range which is only good if your shooting at him from, well medium range, also maggie's machine pistol does tons of damage, but I do agree placing down harpoon traps is good for battle.

Gamer Grumm In my experience playing hunters, the more grouped we were, the more vulnerable we were to attacks like rock smash, aftershock, and supernova. By spreading out, we were able to at least mitigate damage a bit. Of course having a character by themselves is never a good option but being spread out means that the others split the monster's focus while someone aids someone else. Again this is just my experience with the rounds I've played with friends and online.

I have some tips 1.Val can revive using her med gun 2.Maggie should put some harp on every now and then so the monster gets slowed down 3.Support should only shield when someone is low and use the cloak more 4.Assult needs to use his shield or you will go down quicker Hope this helps

This game is just too intense... glad you guys picked it up! Your camera transitions could use some work though. I had a bit of trouble figuring out who's view I was watching. I know you have that icon on the top right, but for a game like this I think it's too subtle. Maybe something similar to what you did in your Civ:BE videos but smaller.

I found this very enjoyable! Just curious, would you say that the roles you chose reflected similarly with other class based co-op games you've played, or did you pick at random for this one?

I'd say not really. Ash has usually taken the tank role, and Jas is the mage/healer. Granted, there are only 3-4 other series on this channel WITH all the standard roles, but it's been fairly consistent.

Yea we went a little different with this one. Ash and Rik got a chance to play the game quite a bit during the Alpha weekends so we sorta said pick the one's you were best with. Biff is right, usually Ash plays Tanky, Jas is some kind of Mage/High Dps, and Rik is usually Rogue/Archer type (ranged DPS), while I play whatever else needs to be filled (Healer/Buffer/Weird Shit). We'll probably rotate around a little in the future to see where we each fit the best!

with this game the maps are smaller than you think. so what you need to do is learn them and not just follow daisy. also the monster is always faster than the hunters

The only game I can really compare this to is Monster Hunter, so all the down-time between fights is really off-putting. If I had a good enough computer, I'd love to play this, but my laptop from 2007 isn't quite up to snuff, unfortunately.
