when I start a new file, I always do the same thing, I buy a garden and get 30 food of any type, feed the pink gordo to get the key, and go to the Moss Blanket. I then get Honey Slimes, Boom Plorts and Mint Mangos and go back to the ranch via teleporter. put the mangos in the garden, honey slimes in the empty corral and sleep until morning one time. feed the honey slimes until i have enough for high walls, and then i give them the boom plorts. i sleep 'til morning again about 5 times but in between each 'sleep' I put the mangos that have grown right inside of the Corral, and that results in starting with about 7,500 - 10,000 New-bucks. I'm not that new to the game but I also don't know a lot. So I guess you could say I'm decent? Anyway, that's my strategy for starting with a bunch of money. If you do something similar then let me know in the replies! (unless you don't want to)

I was avoiding slimes with meat diet until I bought Overgrowth. I made a Tabby Hunter corral, a Tabby Phosphor corral and two pens for chickens. Collected a ton of favourite chickens for my kitties, which I only fed with wild hen hens up to this point and switched to their favourites instead. Having no use for wild hen hens I decided to try try just dumping a bunch of tabbies in there and bought my first drone to collect their plorts for me. In like a week in game I ran out of all my chickens, because wild tabbies decided that jumping into my pens is easier than eating chickens strolling around them. That's the first time I considered dumping slimes into the sea 😅 They completely destroyed the economy I've built for the area later on, so I decided to build my first incinerator 🙃

You can access the moss blanket with no slime key. You use the jetpack to get onto the pillar to the left of the door, then you use the jetpack to get over the wall.

Just for people wondering "Do you have to get the moss blanket for ancient ruins" And the answer is no They have a shortcut in the area of the ancient ruins rainbow grate there's 2 ways to come in but the indigo quarry way takes a slime to get into the rainbow gate area but most people do the mossblanket Either way though you have to use 2 slime keys and then one for And then one for the glass desert The mossblanket is better because it unlocks 2-3 slimes I say 2-3 cause if it's yr first area it's yr first time going to either the indigo quarry and moss blanket Both have the boom Indigo quarry:rad,crystal,(boom) Mossblanket:honey,hunter,(boom) The reason I say this is for two kinds of people 1)the new people 2)what does the slime gate in the rainbow gate area lead to A:indigo quarry

The Crystal/Phospher Largos should be called The Butterflies, because the Phosher have the antenna and the ability to fly, and the crystal makes the wings look more like a butterfly.

He had to put season 2 on hold until a mod he's wanting to use for extra building was updated to the current version of the game. He wanted to use the mod to create the gorgo challenges. It just updated not long ago, so he should be getting back to it soon. If you look in his videos, he has one called "Where's Slime Rancher" which explains it all there.
