There are three other hornets to look for. The yellow vented hornet, the black tailed hornet which although a bit smaller is a very big hornet and is named for the black coloring near the rear end of the abdomen, and the Japanese yellow hornet which is actually considered to be the most dangerous hornet there because they have thelargest swarms of any hornet and will attack in greater numbers.
