My Kids have watched you guys shows and in the process we’ve seen your children grow. We are careful in our selection of shows for our children because we are a Christian family and try to teach our children Christian principles. There is so many things that are contrary to this lifestyle nowadays, more so than when I was a child. I hope you see this message... To be a survivalist, you need to start with seeing things differently. Most things have more than one use. To survive you need in order of importance.. water- clean healthy water. Look up some ways of making sure this item can be collected multiple ways. You can die from lack of water within three to five days. By not drinking, your body goes to the muscles for liquid to help your blood flow. And a dozen other reasons. So, learn about how to get water and a good survivalist knows multiple ways. Next- shelter- a pile of dead leaves is called several things, I call them Debris Shelters. What matters is keeping you warm and dry since you can die from hyperthermia in just a single night. Starting with moss on the ground to separate yourself from the dirt which drains heat out of your body really quickly. You can retain your own body heat to keep you warmer, like insulation.. from top to bottom.. moss, sticks with the little branches still on them (these help create structure but is loose enough to allow you to crawl into the center. Don't add the sticks for the middle of the pile, line them in layers, leafs, sticks, leaf stick, in a U shape. When you make a shelter like this, have the opening downwind. Usually in the states that would be from the North West. If you choose to or can do a fire, you will need a reflector because you can't make a fire close to the shelter. Finish with bows of green branches to hold it all in place. Don't be afraid to just add a ton of debris. You can collect firewood as you look for water and debris. Fire- Now this one is tricky. Where you are is what determines your fire source and its food. KZbin has hundreds of survivalist methods for you to learn from. But, watching and doing are the most important. If you have a knife, or a sharp rock...you an survive a cold night with your own method to start a fire. Here is a few hints to start with. As you look for debris for your shelter, keep an eye out for sap from surrounding trees. If you are super lucky you an find a tree hit by lightening. Collect the sap or the "Fat Wood", make sure you have something to lay these on like a large leaf or a bundle of dead leaves. This stuff is messy but it is the difference between life and death. You need it to boil your water, stay warm, cook your food. This was the first step in evolution, the use of fire. Initially fire was captured by people who became very important to tribes all over the world. Fire keepers would collect fire from brush fires caused by lightening or other natural occurrences. They were required to keep the fire "alive". Eventually we learned about making fire and thus, our species survived. These three things cost nothing, absolutely nothing material that is. Everything can be done by even an apartment dweller! Seriously! Try this in your home...LOL..it would be a blast for the kids too. Water.. teach them about how it enters your home clean, fluoride and chlorine added to make it safe after it is possessed at the plant. Show them water towers and how in an outbreak, even though the water has been processed, it could still be dangerous. Learn purification techniques and share how easy it can be and how disastrous it can be. Shelter- use newspapers, magazines, towels, poor noodles...that pile of toys you wanted cleaned up. As a matter of fact, if you are teaching kids, give them their own piles from the mess of their rooms. Otherwise, do it on laundry day and use the foldable for the project. Boxes help too! Fire- So important!. If you are teaching fire, use a lighter. It is one of the most recent invention of how fire was made by our ancestors. Flint and steal with a food source for the fire. Use with caution and teach that it isn't a toy. If you can do this project in a tub or sink, it is safer. Learn all the ways to make fire because there are so many based on where you are and the fuel sources there. Hint: Do not use wood that is painted or sealed with creosote, unless it is needed for a HELP fire. Never put the fuel right next to the fire, put it upwind of the fire and keep the fire low enough that when you add fuel it won't spark too much. These are important tips to stay safe. The last thing is really important, if you need a message to get help, and it needs to be seen from a plane, use dry fuel, burn the ground one letter at a time and spell HELP or your name. Do one letter at a time so you can control the burn. Next you make a pile of leaves, sticks and if you are lucky a bundle of fat wood or sap on each pile. Mustiple fires will bring attention to you if you are lost. It also can bring attention to your hiding spot if you are in survival mode. Make sure you do not burn a fire for long or late at night if you are hiding. There are ways to make the heat go under your shelter. Look them up. Next stay put! stealth

This video and all the cabin ones are my favorite ones I LOVE THIS CHANNEL I feel so terrible for him I have got. Stung while staying so long in the woods by my self I have got stung by a whole lot in the woods and just like axel I came back and enjoyed it I prayed to god that I could not get stung but of course it’s part of life the wasps are just taking care of to their nest and again it’s part of life and there is nothing I can do about it and that’s just the way I like it 🙂

A paste of baking soda and water will take the sting out of hornet, wasp, yellow jacket bites immediately. Some of these get aggressive when it's very hot. I know yellow jackets do.
