These are beautiful, sometimes I do think less is more, they look so delicate and the backing is just wow. 🌸🌸🌸

I found a video I hadn't seen! Love these so now I have to try doing this type of backing layer!

Haha I'm a bad influence if I'm stopping you pouring and trying these different techniques. I really enjoyed doing this one though. Let me know how you get on with it. I don't use Craft Resin as my backing layer if it's not going to be the top of the coaster though, and usually use a slightly less expensive one. I think, as long as I've got the heat resistance n top, then I might as well use a different one just for the backing layer. Hope that makes sense and saves you a few pennies,

These r absolutely stunning 😍 especially with the purple 💜 😍

Thanks Mandi. I really didn't expect the purple to turn out so well so that was a very happy accident! I thought it was going to be more grey like in the pot, but I think I was lucky and love the results.

They are beautiful, I'm just trying to learn to do the flowers. I never have success with alcohol inks, I've tried twice but the ink always seems to stay wet for some reason. The rest of the coaster cured but not the ink. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong ? Thanks for sharing your beautiful flowers x

Thanks for the compliment. I found it really is down to practice, trial and error when it comes to the 3D flowers butm when you get it to work, the results are so amazing. There are a couple of things I can suggest for you to try but try 1 at a time and see if it helps... 1. What brand of alcohol ink are you using? This happened to me once when I use Tim Holtz Distress ink. I ended up putting a top coat on and it was fine, so that's something you could try. 2. How much alcohol ink are you using? Too much will cause curing problems, so keep an eye on the quantity. 3. As mentioned in the 1st point, if this happens, you can always try adding a top coat to see if this cures with the uncured ink sandwiched between, which should then cure. I hope that makes sense, but feel free to come back to me if it doesn't. Good luck and please let me know how you're getting on.

@@resinbydrew741 Hi, thank you for your reply. I wouldn't say I used to much ink. They are just cheap ones from Amazon. I threw them away lol, never though of trying to add another coat. I will definitely have another go with the inks. I'm pretty sure they didn't really spread very well? x
