Some interesting details about this one.
First, for Artemis NASA rebuilt the flame deflector at pad 39B to change from the shuttle-era "split direction" configuration to one which deflected the full 8.8 million pounds of thrust to the North. We happened to be the closest humans to the launch, just north of the launch. We experienced a sonic force we don't think anyone has seen or felt before. You can see it 8 seconds into the video.
Second, the post-shutdown "fireworks" from the solid boosters starting around 4 minutes 40 seconds were unexpectedly beautiful.
This was an OUTSTANDING launch to experience and we are happy to share this with you. We are really looking forward to Artemis 2.
