Osman has been a cherished friend for many years, and his craftsmanship never ceases to amaze me. When I visited his shop, I was blown away by the incredible variety of options for bass guitars-everything from top-of-the-line hardware and electronics to the most exotic tonewoods you can find. I didn’t hesitate for a moment and immediately ordered a 6-string bass for myself. His bass guitars are truly masterpieces, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

This is one of the only basses I'm happy to admit sounds better than my Mayones with big singles. Insane.

Modern Turkish pop music has developed under the influence of both Anatolian melodies and Western and Eastern harmonies. As a result, the leading bass guitarists of the time have used a wide range of sounds in their recordings, contributing to the richness of the music. During these recordings, the bass guitar was both prominently featured and contained challenging partitions. For this reason, bass guitarists who perform live prefer high-quality instruments with a wide range of sounds and ergonomic designs. However, many bass guitarists living in Turkey perform with just one bass guitar and may have an additional fretless bass guitar. This is because the cost of the high-quality instruments that meet their demands is often quite expensive, and they are unable to find suitable options that meet their personal preferences. Therefore, luthiers in Turkey create highly advanced works and fulfill special orders to meet these demands. Luthiers strive to respond to customers' personal preferences in the best possible way, producing both affordable and top-segment products. In recent years, they have started to produce extraordinary bass guitars that stand out with their unconventional designs, gaining recognition in the process. Thus, I believe they will make a name for themselves beyond Turkey in the future

I just got one of his basses a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! In a “metal” band and first time playing it at practice it cut through everything so much more than my Spector NS Dimension 5 HP… all while being 2lbs lighter 🤘 this dude knows how to make a bass!! Crazy I couldn’t find many videos on them before buying, luckily he has video demos of his builds on his instagram so I heard what my exact bass could do before buying it. I would gladly add another one of his basses to my arsenal if I could afford it!

I bet that would sound so good in a metal mix. The top end would cut right through.

It does man. Mine’s laid out a little different but it cuts through so well! Had been playing on a Spector NS Dimension 5 HP and could barely hear it at band practice a few times, but the first practice with the Otto bass? *chef’s kiss*

On the topic of headless being a little weird til you're used to them: I own two now and the first one tripped me up quite a lot at first. You're used to the neck ending with the headstock in your peripheral vision and being headless it throws it off. I was constantly several steps off for a while lol. Once you adjust to it the sensation of the neck feeling longer disappears, but this can take a while.

If anyone is interested in getting one of these I've got mine up on reverb as I'm trying to fund another one! I play metal and use a pick, you can hear it on my band Thus Spoke's EP, "RECLAMATION" but these basses are capable of anything!!

I actually think overall a conventional headstock would sell a bass with this configuration (I had to sell my Gibson G3 some years ago 😢) better than a headless model.
