Wow! That was long but I could not take it all in the first time. I will be going back. I have one thing this time to say. Your daughters bedroom just hit me. It was the walls the wall paper. The colors were just wonderful. I can not imagine you losing so much. But your family stuck it out. You have a part of you in every room. when I was 7 my family farm was hit be the flood of 1958 in Iowa. We were so lucky. Our basement was full to the ceiling but did not come up into our living quarters. I can understand your little daughter totally. I will never forget it. we had sheep dead hanging in our trees. They were not our sheep. But we did not loose any animals. Our dog went up and spent the night with our pigs. So at my age then and now I can tell you the whole story. She is brave. Tell her I am proud of her. When I was 8 and I am 72 now it is real. Thank you so much for the tour. Joyce

this was probably one f the best home tours I have ever watched. Kim has a impeccable,unique style that I have not seen anywhere else. It is one of kind. The nook inside the front door with the mirror is perfection, the dresser and gallery wall in the entry amazing. And, oh I wish I were her daughter . To live in that room is like a enveloping warm hug. The board and batten, wall paper,linens and art. I could spend hours reading and dreaming in that room. I have book marked this tour to revisit many times in the future.

😱…I am speechless and my jaw is on the floor! That was the most beautiful home I have ever toured; inside and outside! The owner’s narration was captivating and perfectly done. My heart ached that the flood from Hurricane Harvey pervades so much of their life, but they rose above the fray of it all in a splendid mental fashion that is also reflected in the current rebuilt home. My most favorite part of this tour was EVERYTHING, just EVERYTHING. Holly, I watch all your tours and by far, this was the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was stunning. I love how unique and pretty it is. So on trend and yet so individual. I think that is what appeals to me. It doesn't look like so many white farmhouses. I love the earth tones and the styling is awesome. I hope she comes back for christmas!

Beautiful. It takes money to create a home magazine worthy. Eclectic, thrifted, even gathering furniture pieces from the side of road for free, you still have to have tools, paint, brushes etc. I decorated my very small porch, grabbed some plants and pumpkins and I spent $100! $100!!! I still paid it because it lifts my spirits to be surrounded by pretty plants but still. It’s money! I often wonder what the ladies giving us a tour of their beautiful homes do for a living lol

I’m a sucker for a good flea market trip! Every single piece is so expertly appointed. I love your eye and style. I thought that color was black, I love a black wall, but that color is lovely. The black accents and fixtures really elevate your space! I’m so sorry about the flooding, I’m sure it was a learning experience. Kim has a wonderful home!! She's the queen of decor for whom that likes eclectic farmhouse, cottage, modern with antiques. Not a cheap taste, but gives us so much inspiration for layout and furniture. I follow her on IG, but never noticed how beautiful her home is.
