Stumbled over this review after buying that amp 2 years ago. Man, I still love it! Totally agree on everything said in this video. I was looking for a smaller (somewhat portable) session amp and went to my local shop, planning to buy either an Ampeg or Fender combo. Tried all smaller Ampegs and Fenders, tried a Peavy and a Hardtke and totally disappointed wanted to leave, as none of the amps seemed to work with my J-Bass and none came close to the kind bass sounds I like. Spotted the Cort in a corner, plugged in my bass, played two notes and knew I'll buy it. I ended up using it as my main amp in a funk/soul/jazz combo. I have put it on top of a Markbass 15", to maintain enough bottom end when playing very loud (I mean really loud, otherwise the Cort would be sufficient).

This Cort CM-150B amp looks together with Fender Rumble 100 V3 like a brother from another mother. I've seen below a request to test them both in one video - that would be really interesting. Sounds like a good deal at that price point . Can you review The Traynor Small Block Combos 112 and 115 . They use their 200 Watt Class D Amp . They are lighter than the Cort . They do cost more , but in the bigger picture it they have great volume , tone and a one hand carry , it may be worth the extra coin . Plus , since it's made in Canada , maybe they'll include a Neil Young , Brian Adams or BTO CD !

It's nice to hear Rene to play along with music when he's demoing a bass or an app. Right now I'm using a markbass combo for Studio or my practice amp. This little $300 amp sounded very good and seem to have more low-end in my mark Bass. I'll have to go check it out at my local music store. Oh by the way let's not forget, Renee is using a phenomenal jazz bass when he does these demos. I'm quite sure that has a lot to do with that sound you're acquiring. Thanks for the review. I saw a complaint @ Thomann review section that the FX Loop was useless because the Master volume adjusts the FX send, instead of the power amp at the end... If that's true, yeah, so useless that I wonder why they bothered to put those jacks in. The designing engineer must have been seriously sleep-deprived.
@marcellorinaldi55542 жыл бұрын
I have some other guitar and bass amp, and the master volume never do this: when you connect a source to the power in (or fx return), you have the max power out and the overall volume dipends just on the source...
