As well as Haley Reinharts rendition of 'Creep' is a version of 'All About That Bass with Haley, Morgan and Ariana Savalas. Morgan James also has a very good version of 'Maps' and Haley amongst other covers a fine version of 'Don't Speak. But in general Post Modern Jukebox a a lot excellent rearrangements of many recent songs. Done by their pianist/originator Scott Bradlee.

Wow! I haven't listened to that in some time. I almost forgot how good they are with this song! PMJ is, in my opinion, one of the most under-rated and well-hidden groups of the last (however long they've been around). And they are very selective about their guest artists. Great reaction! Would love to see you react to Morgan's videos singing Maps (with Postmodern Jukebox); Baby, I Love You (with her husband, Doug Wamble); and Oh Me, Oh My (with her own band). Morgan was classically (opera) trained at Julliard, starred in several Broadway musicals, and sings every genre (country, pop, rock, jazz, r&b) with beautiful vocals and presentation.

So, Morgan James is a Julliard trained opera singer who decided to go towards the Jazz route, although she has appeared in Godspell as she enjoys musicals too.

Top-tier vocalist. Morgan studied voice at Juilliard. She’s highly trained, very talented, and she has great taste. All her stuff with Postmodern Jukebox is fantastic. Plus she has her own solo material. Postmodern Jukebox uses lots of guest vocalists. It’s a huge rabbit hole to go down! Very worthwhile.

When I'm not listening to the top acapella groups, this is one of my go to groups. Postmodern jukebox does such a fantastic job of making vintage style flips of songs and finding amazing talent on vocalists like morgan James and haley reinhart. Creep, 7 nation army, all about the bass, sweet child o mine, Wannabe are all fantastic vintage covers. When they really hit one, you might even convince yourself this is the original version and not the cover.

great reaction mrs realistic. morgan james is an amazing powefull singer and performer and fits perfectly with the postmodern jukebox (aka. pmj) family. however, this performance takes her to another level and is her best one... imho. the string arrangement is also superb. the way the guy on the cello plucks it like a guitar after her first run is super cool (never seen that before). as good as this is though it's not their absolute best, for that i highly recommend "creep" with haley reinhart. it is a masterpiece and maybe one the best covers ever done of any song. 😎

This is a rabbit hole that runs very deep. Scott Bradley is the genius that has enlisted a multitude of artists and arranged over 100 covers, so there is a lot to explore with them. Your next stop should be Haley Rienhart singing Creep.

Postmodern Jukebox is a giant rabbit hole definetely worth going through. It's a KZbin channel that basically takes popular songs and covers them in multitudes of different vintage music styles. Just open up their channel, go through it and pick any song you think you might like. They have a huge list. Morgan is great, and PMJ have some great renditions of classic songs, and current pop songs. Morgans PMJ version of Take Me To Church is great, She she's also done a version of Maps by Maroon Five too. Another PMJ classic is All of Me (John Legend) sung by Kiah Victoria. A personal fav is Style, a Taylor Swift cover sung by Annie Goodchild and Von Smith; never heard the original, but the cover is great. Another band that covers and does mashups of popular and classics songs is Pomplemouse, and their version of Sweet Dreams mashed with 7 Nation Army is fantastic.

I still prefer VoicePlay's cover, but PMJ's and MJ's cover is undeniably a very impressive one! PMJ has a very interesting catalogue and Haley Reinhart and Puddles Pity Party colabs with PMJ (effectively the guy playing the piano) are worth checking out.
